Hello! My name is Raymond Chu and I am your Worthy Keeper of Finance for the 2020-2021 academic school year. I was born and raised in the Bay Area (Area Code 510!) but completed my undergraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences at UC Irvine (Go Eaters!). Some of my hobbies/interests include playing air hockey and billiards, socializing and cooking with friends, watching crime and scary movies, collecting memorabilia and enjoying the great outdoors (nature walks, hiking, camping, sightseeing, traveling). I’m a big baseball fan who knows a lot about each of the players on all of the 30 major league clubs. I’m honestly pretty open to anything so feel free to talk to me as I’m all ears open. I’d rather spend my time outside than stay inside so I don’t play games much, although I’m competitive when I do.
What do you look forward to most this year?
Despite the many changes this year, I look forward to working with the rest of the Phi Delta Chi board and brothers to ensure that we provide as many positive experiences to you and our community. I look forward to meeting and welcoming the Class of 2023. I hope that you will enjoy PDC as much as I have.
One interesting fact about me is...
During the summer prior to starting pharmacy school, I attended Pokemon Go Fest 2019 in Chicago, Illinois with several members from my community. Besides catching lots of shiny Pokemon, our stay included much sightseeing, enjoying Chicago dogs and pizza, and even getting caught in a severe thunderstorm on our Go Fest day. The park had to be evacuated and the entire city was put in a shelter in place!
