Biography
Hello! My name is Ashley, and I’m one of your Worthy Inner Guards for 2021-2022! I grew up in SoCal in Orange County where I am spoiled by great weather. I went to UC Davis for undergrad and took a gap year before starting pharmacy school. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new boba/food places, going on hikes, and taking fat naps. I also play basketball (go Lakers!), learn anime songs on the piano, and binge anime/Netflix shows. A couple of my favorite anime include My Hero Academia and Haikyuu!!, while some of my favorite Netflix shows are The Queen’s Gambit and Criminal Minds. What do you look forward to most this year? I hope COVID-19 restrictions will be fully lifted so that we can have more in-person events. I’m also excited to welcome the incoming P1s and spoil my future little! Interesting facts about me is... I can sleep literally anywhere! I’ve fallen asleep in class countless times, on the floor, and even on my piano bench while practicing piano (there was drool on my shirt when I woke up). |

Biography
Hi! I’m Amanda, one of your WIGs for the 2021-2022 school year. I went to undergrad at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, but I’m originally from Saratoga (near San Jose), so I’m a bay area girl at heart. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV shows (mostly reality, rom coms, and sitcoms), exploring hiking trails, walking my dog (when I’m home), and baking. I’m definitely not an expert baker, but I got into baking during quarantine and am always down to try new recipes! I also enjoy listening to music on Spotify, and my current favorite genres include rnb, pop, and indie. I am a big foodie and I have an even bigger sweet tooth, so I love exploring different brunch/food places, dessert places, and boba/coffee shops! What do you look forward to most this year? I’m excited to meet and welcome all of the incoming class of 2024! I hope that we can make your transition to UCSF as smooth as possible :) One interesting fact about me is... I have 6 names (2 first, 2 middle, and 2 last names!) |
